Anuja Chauhan’s New Book to Launch on February 26

HarperCollins India announced on Wednesday that bestselling author Anuja Chauhan’s new book, ‘Club You to Death’ will launch on February 26. In a tweet, the publisher said that the book will be a romance and suspense novel, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. ‘Club You to Death’ is a story set in the country’s capital, and is yet another high-profile thriller from the advertising veteran.

According to the official announcement on the premier publisher’s website, ‘Club You to Death’ is a murder mystery. It revolves around the death of a hunky personal trainer in an elite Delhi club and a cold-blooded killer. Commenting on her new book, Anuja Chauhan said, “the lockdown made me want to murder people. Hopefully, I’ve done it well.”

Senior Commissioning Editor at HarperCollins India, Swati Daftuar said that the book is funny, clever, and thrilling, and could become the readers’ favorite book by the seasoned author. Likewise, Diya Kar, Publisher at HarperCollins India, said that she binge-read the book, and found it to be ‘absolutely delicious’. In addition to humor and romance, a trademark of her previous books, the author has added a healthy dose of suspense, making the book a tempting read for the young guns.

About the Author

Anuja Chauhan is a veteran advertising expert, having worked in the industry for over fourteen years. She was the brains behind popular Pepsi ad campaigns like ‘Nothing Official About it’, ‘Yeh Dil Maange More’ and ‘Oye Bubbly’. She published her bestselling debut novel, ‘The Zoya Factor’, with HarperCollins in 2008, which also became a feature film of the same name. Her other novels include, ‘Battle of Bittora’ (HarperCollins), ‘Those Pricey Thakur Girls’ (HarperCollins), ‘The House that BJ Built’ (Westland), and ‘Baaz’ (HarperCollins). Chauhan is currently the Executive Creative Director and VP at J. Walter Thompson Advertising company.
