Jeffrey Archer’s ‘Turn a Blind Eye’ to Release on April 1

Leading publishing house Pan MacMillan India announced the release date of British author Jeffrey Archer’s new novel. The book, titled ‘Turn a Blind Eye’, will hit the shelves on April 1, the publisher said in a tweet on Sunday.

Turn a Blind Eye is currently available for pre-order on Crossword, and according to the seller’s official website, those who opt for pre-order will get an exclusive attend a live session by Archer on April 24. The author’s latest book is the third installment in the Detective Inspector William Warwick series.

The book will also be the last one in the series to be published by Pan MacMillan, as Jeffrey Archer has already signed a new three-book deal with HarperCollins for the next instalments. The fourth book in the series, ‘Over My Dead Body, is scheduled for release in the autumn of this year.

In the third instalment, William Warwick goes undercover to unearth corruption within the Metropolitan Police Force. The antagonists of the plot are Assem Rashidi, a notorious drug baron, and Detective Jerry Summers, a police officer whose lifestyle’s is beyond his income. Just as the first two instalments, the third is also expected to be a gritty tale in the story of Detective William Warwick.

About the Author

Jeffrey Archer is one of the highest-selling authors of all time, topping the New York Times bestseller list multiple times. He is also a recipient of several coveted awards, including the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards. Archer is also a member of the House of Lords, titled Baron Archer of Weston-super-Mare. The 80-years-old has also been involved in politics, serving as a Member of the British Parliament between 1969 to 1974. Jeffrey Archer currently lives in London, Cambridge, and Mallorca.
